I graduated as a mature student from Dublin City University in 2014. I had intended to work teaching English as a foreign language as I was having difficulty finding work here in Ireland, however I did manage to secure employment here in March 2015 and took the job. My contract is now up in June 2016 so I am looking to work in South Korea to kick start my teaching career and would love to hear from anyone who entered through the EPIK programme or is working there currently.
I joined expat.com on 08 September 2014.

I loved Boston! It was so easy to get around with buses and train systems that were very reasonably priced. I lived in a quiet town but 10 minutes on a train and I was in one of the busiest towns in Boston so I had the best of both worlds. I was never ever bored!
Food was expensive especially cheese and meat! Rent too so had to share in a house and my housemates were not very friendly. While it was easy to make friends it was difficult to keep in constant contact. Weather was incredibly humid!
