Trained in interstitial brachytherapy for head-and-neck cancers
Vietnamese cuisine, friendly locals, low cost of living, traffic
Overcharging vendors and taxi drivers. Snatchers, robbers, holduppers.
I rotated at the brachytherapy division of UCLA Radiation Oncology and did clinical research. I got to see a dear friend from college and meet a lot of new friends, some were among the most wonderful people I met!
The sunny and cool weather. It's proximity to the beach. Good public transportation. Lots of things to do and enjoy.
Nothing. I would like to move there!
I finished my residency in Radiation Oncology, passed the specialty boards and started my medical practice.
Dagupan is close to my hometown. I love the seafoods.
I got to see state-of-the-art cancer management at the MD Anderson Cancer Center and visit my cousin and her family in Austin.
The food, especially Tex-Mex
Poor public transportation.
It is here where I got my degree in Biology and in Medicine, and later trained in Radiation Oncology.
My family and dear friends. A lot of happy and sad memories in this city!
The humidity in summer and the heavy rains in the wet season.
