Hi: After 40 years living in different countries my husband Jorge, and I, Lia we will be relocating back to Buenos Aires, Argentina. We will be "repatriating" our things to Argentina, but we feel a lot more at ease with the expatriots in the different places we lived. We are Argentinian & USA citizens. We would like to know if it is convenient for us to buy the TV's in USA, since they are a lot cheaper, even though the electricity is 220V in Argentina, and here we can only buy TV's with 110V. What about other small items, like microwaves, blenders, etc? Do you know if we will need a transformer for each small item? What about buying furniture? Friends tell us that furniture is very expensive in Buenos Aires. Is it true? Which will be good places to buy a dining room or living room set, bedroom sets. We will have to sell our bedroom & office furniture in the USA, since our furniture is a lot larger than the small apartment we are renting. What else do you suggest we should bring from the USA, and which definitely it will be better to buy en Argentina? After 40 years abroad, we really don't know what to bring. Any other advice to us returning to Argentina? Thanks for your help. Lia
