American looking for information about British Virgin Islands

Introduction
I am currently a travel nurse and my husband and I would like to explore living in the BVI. We do not plan to work. We would be able to rent or buy. We would like to be in a more remote area than Tortola and on a beach. But would like access to groceries and such. And maybe the Internet or satellite. Something furnished. Thanks!
