I used to live in Switzerland (St. Gall and Zurich) in 1997-1999. In 2010 I volunteered 3 months in Blantyre, Malawi. Love to live abroad and would love to explore more of Asia and Africa.

Expat experience
I lived in a house with my fellow consultants and we worked 5days a week with fellow Malawi junior consultants. The program was Capacity Building for Enterprise.
very nice and friendly people, safe, lovely scenery
expensive, not a lot of diversity of places to go out or to do things in the evenings
volunteering as a business consultant in Malawi sharing the experience with young Malawi consultants and consulting SMEs
lovely scenery, friendly people, very easy to get a foot in the business
bureaucracy, slow response, power cuts, expensive mobile phone, lack of public transportation, high prices
First I studied in St. Gall and part of the program was also an internship with a firm, that later offered me a job.
peaceful, nice scenery, good business opportunity, taxes :)
very closed society, very strict rules, quite expensive
