I teach yoga in Mauritius and run a wellbeing business: Reboot | Recharge (www.recharge-reboot.com). We also offer fitness, online subscription services, meditation, healthy eating menu planning, yoga for anxiety and stress, yoga for sleep issues and relaxation, yoga for team building and corporations, yoga and hiking combined. I believe in practicing yoga outdoors whenever possible, to take advantage of the beautiful forests and beaches of Mauritius. Alongside this I run a online marketing and start-up planning and advice business, called Lettuce Leaf (www.lettuceleaf.co).
I joined expat.com on 28 November 2014.
I moved to Mauritius originally in 2013 and took a job at a communications agency. After approximately a year, I stopped working there to start my own self-employed business. Now I run a Yoga and Wellbeing business, Recharge | Reboot.
Erasmus scholarship - studying
I could go skiing every weekend.
The student lifestyle is in no way similar to the UK, the Vermont American's initial interest of your foreign status wears off and becomes a wariness instead. The education system cannot be paralleled to that of the UK and less you attend an Ivy League College.
I studied, English Literature and Creative Writing, in Wales at Aberystwyth University!
There was avery friendly atmosphere and lots to do despite the weather.
The weather - always raining!!! There is some negative attitude towards the English still!
I was training for ski racing and to become a ski instructor.
I loved the attitude of the New Zealand people and how friendly they are towards foreigners. I also particularly enjoyed the adventurous side of New Zealand and incredible beauty. It is a very sporty country, which I enjoyed as someone that loves their sport!
New Zealand is surprisingly expensive!
