Original Mancunian, now living in KL via London, NYC and London. This move is courtesy of the hubby's career so I am currently focusing on getting our 2 children of 4yrs old and 8 months old sorted.

This was different to my time as living there before the first international move. This time I was a working mum, so my perspective on things was very different.

This was the first move made for my husband's job. We did this move before having children, but had our DD in our last year before moving back to the UK
NY is a sophisticated city. the choice of restaurants at affordable prices, chic places to party.
People can be fickle. The first question people tend to ask is "what do you do" before they even enquire about your name.
