Moved to Dubai from Belgium end of July. Started my own company and now looking for new friends and people who can answer questions about living in Dubai (and for clients ;)

Mon parcours
Set up a new company of freelance assistants supporting businesses and individuals, in organizing events, in marketing and P.R., in secretarial and administrational duties, in personal errands, in enhancing the clients' quality of life.
The eternal sun and blue sky, the presence of the sea, the mix of nationalities, the friendliness, the cheap taxis (ooops), the perfect white of the Emirati men's clothing, the tasteful and colourful clothes of the ladies, the one-stop shopping malls, the roof top swimming pools,
the traffic and the driving style, the construction sites, the sometimes freezing AC, the dust, the postman not coming to my door :-), the high rental prices,
The social security and health insurance, the good food and drink (sorry :-), the cultural patrimonium, the history we have in that continent, the good environment to learn and practice many languages, the eternal frictions in the government..., the quizzes on television
the rain, the cold and the grey skies, the high prices for the petroleum and gasoline, the "cool" behaviour of the people, the indifference of the people towards their neighbours and acquaintances, the high taxes, the traffic and the driving style, the constant drive to get more material wealth, ...
