Hi, My husband and I are from Bangladesh. We have received PR visas and will move to Canberra at the end of July with our two daughters. I have more than 15 years of professional experience in public relations/strategic communications and have worked for Plan International Nepal, Save the Children, International Labour Office and International Centre for Diarrhoeal Diseases Research, Bangladesh. I hold grad/post-grad degrees in Sociology and a post-grad diploma in Management and Leadership and a grad diploma in French Lang. I am interested to work in the NGO/academic sectors or federal offices in Canberra. My husband Tareq is a human resources professional with 20 years of experience in the NGO/diplomatic missions/corporate sector. We are moving to Australia to give our children a better opportunity in life, through good quality education and security. We are hard working professionals willing to work even harder in making positive and productive contributions to the community in Canberra. I was born in Hong Kong and grew up in Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, UK and Senegal, and multi-culturism is my middle-name!! We chose Australia as our new home as the Australian way of life with a good work/life balance appealed to us.
