Hi, I'm Jeff and I'm British. I live in the UK but I work all over Europe as a professional IT freelancer. I have just secured a 9 month contract in Copenhagen which may extend into 2016. I typically commute home at weekends and my wife joins me abroad for occasional long weekends. Outside of work hours, I'm on holiday in a foreign country with a different culture, language, cuisine, architecture, currency, places to visit and so on, so this weights my work-life balance in favour of life! I like to travel, meet new people, try new things and broaden my horizons. I have worked in England, Scotland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland and now Denmark, typically on three month contracts that have extended to up-to 18 months. I have friends and colleagues in all of the countries that I have worked and more. Life is what you make of it. Enjoy it!
