Expat experience
I work in Cybercity for a FinTech company specialising in online payment processing.
Tropical paradise.
Mauritian mentality.
I worked in telecommunications from 2001 till 2008, then moved into investment banking where I worked mostly in Canary Wharf for Tier-1 investment banks.
Always plenty to do, life in the fast lane, great bars and restaurants and the ability to easily get out of the city for more relaxed experiences.
Expensive, busy, and people are not so friendly unless you know them.
This was a university summer job working for The Southwestern Company as a student manager selling books door-to-door after taking part in an intensive sales training programme.
