Hi, I am from Scotland, although currently spend around 2-3 months a year in Thailand on a tourist visa. I am looking to buy a condo next year, and spend 6 months per year in phuket, and 6 months in the UK. Really looking for advice on where the best ex-pat areas are. Looking for something comfortable with a good community. Not looking for anything ostentatious. Oh, and we have a dog who will be joining us on our travels!
