I grew up and live in the pacific northwest...spent many years in Alaska working..Built a place on a few acres on Fidalgo Island ( Gateway to the San Juan Islands ) ..work as a Lead Designer at a local refinery and am itching to retire, and probably abroad for all the regular reasons, but mostly economics. I will have a small pension and a decent Soc Security check..and am looking south of the border . Panama is bubbkling up near the top of my list which includes Belize and Ecuador as well at this point. Am still young at heart, single, play music, not a city guy.
