Hi, I am David Taylor. I am lving for one month in Taipei with my Taiwanese wife and family. Although the story is very long, I have recently been made redundant after 20 years of working as a buyer and production manager, servicing the UK retail market. AS a family my wife and I have lved together in Worcester England. Recently we have made a 'life plan' decision to re locate our permanent future to live and work in Taiwan. Given my wife is Taiwanese she already has secured employment. We have secure, good living accomodation in Taipei Yong He City. My ambition is to to find employment in Taipei city. Of which I am under no illusions could prove to be difficult. I have made some input to try and find employment but feel my better chance or advice may come through the 'ex pat' community here, hence the application to your very useful web site.? I am hoping to find a permanent employment position to use my business experience, rather than in what seems the regular English teaching posts. I shall return to England on 5.4.09. I am free any day until the 4.5.09, if you can put me in contact with the right connection. It is already appreciated.

I have been visiting Taiwan for ten years. I have made good in roads through my Taiwanese marriage and family supprt to understand deeper the cultural differences, and good life here. It is my intent to further strengthen these experiences.
I enjoy the vast choice, service, culture, color, friendly attitude and scenic beauty beyond the city scooters
Traffic noise, unfinished building quality, curtains on the public coaches, spitting and snorting, people pushing ahead in a que, people dawdling along the street in the way when in a rush
My life began again in Worcester where I have lived and worked since 2003. Recently I have been made redundant. I now seek to re locate
Quiet clean peaceful historic streets, Good quality food and living standards. Can go for a pint easy
Lack of choice, poor quality service, expensive living, inward looking view of some British people
