I have been living in the DR since 2006 and in Sosua since 2009. I work in the technology industry and have been working from home for most of my career. That let me start my own business and take on multiple customers which has led to an early retirement. I am already working part-time and will be fully retired by the end of 2015. I have met a wonderful wife here and we have been married for three years. I have known and dated her for five. There are some challenges here but overall I love my life here. I am able to live comfortably here on less than half the money I could live on in the U.S. which is part of the reason I am able to retire so young.
