My name is Vasiliki Tsakiri and I am coming from Greece(Athens). I live the past 3 years in Amsterdam with my boyfriend. I am working in a souvenir shop and my boyfriend is studying physics and he is working in a climbing gym. Our plan for the coming future is to change country because we want to live in a country with mountains and good food. So why not to Grenoble??

I am living in Amsterdam because of my boyfriend. I met him in Greece 3 years ago and he invite me to stay with him. He is also greek (Athens) and he is a student at the uva of Amsterdam.
To live in Amsterdam is nice experience. First of all you don't really need to learn dutch because most of the people talk to you in english. It is really touristic destination and you can find jobs only with english. Also you can cycle or walk everywhere and you don't really need the public transportation. They are pet friendly. You can take your dog with you in the restaurants and in the bars. I like this city but not for long period.
What I don't like here is: No mountains, No sun, No good weather, ALWAYS cold and raining. Everything is quit expensive and also is difficult to find a house with or without registration. When you need to use the public transportation is also expensive.
