A beautiful historic town in South Holland. It has a quiet charm with no overcrowded tourists. Shops are closed on Sunday and Monday due to religious beliefs. Dordrecht is located on the bible belt of the Netherlands. However, the house price is lower than Breda and Rotterdam. Commune is great, with its strategic location of train passing to Amsterdam and Schipol.
Lack of food choices. It could be more alive, the Gemeente just don't really put much effort. Youngsters flow out to the nearby cities. On Saturday night, the city centre is dead. It is common to see restaurants declare bankrupt every month. Some area of Dordrecht isn't nice to live. Please do research when you buy a house.
