I am immigrating from Texas, USA to Uddevalla Sweden with my family. I am a licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC), equivalent of Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) in Sweden. I understand far more Swedish than I speak, so I need to know where I can go to take language lessons in a group setting. I currently work in a criminal justice rehabilitation facility as an LCDC and would like to continue with that kind of work in the Vestra Götaland area. I understand that the position is called Alkohol och Drogrådgivare-socionom kurator på svenska. Can anyone tell me where to find language immersion classes and job leads in Uddevalla-Göteborg?
