Hi All, I am a single, caucasian, 30 year old woman who has just been offered a job as an English teacher in Medinah. I have had very mixed reviews about whether or not to accept the position. I understand that it would be an enormous culture shock but I am most concerned about the fact that I would not be living in a compound. The school will be providing accommodation in a block of flats. I have done a lot of travelling but never to somewhere like Saudi Arabia. I would love to hear from you all with any advice you could offer.
