Introduction
Time for an update ! Plans had to change. . I worked on contract in China for 1 year + 4 months as an EFL Oral Teacher mostly for kids. My 2nd contract in China, with another employer, didn't work out, so I left China. Did some Volunteering in Vietnam. Met great people there as well as Malaysia. Sadly Im back in Australia looking for a job. No longer an Expat. Might be back in SEAsia again. Will see.

Expat experience
Just back in Australia looking for work.
The cost of living
I was hoping to get some English Tutoring work here, OR another Volunteering Host. Didn't happen. I met good people instead.
I've met a lot of helpful and friendly people.
Hot temperatures every day, especially in the afternoon.
Volunteer EFL Oral Teacher at a small school Centre.
Great people. Pleasant winter temperatures.
I was looking for Teaching work in Phnom Penh, but my plans did not come together. Such is life.

Too hot and humid for me to stay there for a long time. The humidity wore me out.
I was teaching English to small kids, primary school kids, and adults.
Blue skies in the North Eastern parts of China. Beautiful in Spring if you're this far North.
Super cold in winter. I was not a fan of going to work in "- 25 " degrees Celcius. Not nice.
