Film / documentary work on the subject of historical navigation of the sea filming on board the Portuguese Navy training ship the Sagres.
While I was there, Panama was in the midst of a national vote to have portions of the military stand down and absorb functionality by the national police. After the invasion, the new police force was vastly improved over its earlier iteration but never seemed able to deter crime.
Film / documentary work on the subject of sustainable cod fishing and historical harvesting of the minke whale along the coast of Norway.
The beauty of these islands is absolutely breathtaking and made waking up to such beauty a treat every morning. Some moments outside every evening to see the Northern Lights made me realize just how lucky I was to live there for a few months.
When you live on small islands 300 miles north of the arctic circle, some food items are quite expensive.
