I'm Roukaya Said, 23 y.o I was born in Reunion Island, a french departement in the Indian Ocean. After ending high school, I moved to Bordeaux for 4 years realizing a BBA of International marketing and communication. I lived abroad quite a while during my studies. In 2013, i spent 3 months in Birmingham to strenghten my english. In 2014, I lived in China for 5,5 months. Firstly in Beijing for my exchange semester in Renmin University, in the Businness Department. Then i lived one month by myself in Xi an, exploring the fasting culture of Ramadhan in the other part of the Globe. How could it be different than home in terms of foods, mind, interactions within the muslim community. On the month of August, I discover South Korea for about a month by myself and meeting the exchange students who came to my school the years before. I enjoyed my time alone, to think about what I wanna do for the near future. I would like to make a guide for the muslims expats or travellers coming from the Western world to make their life easier during they trip. That's why i planned to live there and experiment the difficulties of the daily life. I also learn through youtube channels of travellers or blogs. What is the most difficult for them or what challenges they are facing living in a country where Islam is quite a minority. Love to exchange thoughs and ideas with you guys. my email roukaya.said@gmail.com XO XO
