I spent the first 10 years of my life in South India (my father was a missionary) and returned to the UK to complete my education. I lived in the UK with my late partner for 27 years, during which time we travelled extensively, to the Far East, India, Africa, Middle East and Europe. I bought a house in Florida near Cocoa Village in 2009 and I have made many goods friends and met a lot of very welcoming people since being here. Unfortunately, I only have a 'Visitors Visa' so I can only stay in the US for 6 months in any year, so I am looking for somewhere warm and welcoming to spend the other 6 months. I would like to visit and investigate Central America as it is not far from my home in Florida. Once I found my ideal location I could pop back and forth without the huge expense of travelling to Europe. Sadly, I was widowed in 2007 and find travelling on my own a frightening and lonely experience, therefore I am looking for a more personal type of experience.
