I am a 57 year old male, living alone, two grown children (32 and 29) who are on their own and successful. I am currently a Director-level management employee for an energy storage technology company, and I am based in Peoria, Arizona (near Phoenix). I manage most mfg operations, facility operations for several locations in the US and China. I have been in this position for 3+ years. Previous to this position, I had my own registered Thai company that provided consulting services to US-based companies with operations in Asia Pac, the EU and N. America. This work caused me to conduct business in 15 difference countries. Before moving back to the US in 2011, I had lived and worked in Thailand for 6 years and 3 years in Taiwan. My original hometown is in the Silicon Valley as a 3rd generation California native. I am planning to retire in the next 1-2 years, and Vietnam interests me as a retirement destination, as I have known many Vietnamese people and find them to be among the finest I have had the honor to meet. I am single, unattached and in excellent physical condition. I find many Asian cultures more compatible and attractive to me than US/Western cultures; this became apparent to me after living and working in Thailand and Taiwan for 11 years, then returning to the US 5 years ago.
