John van Huyssteen

I am a South African born citizen and at the young age of 18 I started my military career serving my country for the next 23 years. I decided to on with my life and studied project management at University of Pretoria, South Africa. Project management and risk management is a great interest to me and worked my way to becoming a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Risk Management Professional (Only 32 in South Africa) at PMI. I am also a lecturer in all fields of project and risk management and find that to be my passion. After many years in the Construction, IT and Mining & Engineering Industries I decided to start my own Project management consulting business ww.jcconsulting.co.za. My wife who is also a PMP and a Bsc Electrical Engineer are looking at working abroad to broaden our arizons and and add subject matter expertise to a country in need of it. We are passionate about our work and we enjoy life.
