Introduction

I'm an expat from the USA living in London. As a dual citizen of the USA and Turkey, I've always enjoyed travel and learning about different cultures. My partner is a UK national and was relocated to London for work. We are settling in to life as Londoners and exploring the city.

Expat experience

Since March 2009

London, England

My partner and I relocated to London because of his job transfer. We live in a flat in the West End/Marylebone and we are exploring the city.

I love walking and taking public transit.

Customer service often does not meet my expectations.

I spent 15 years in Orange County where I finished high school, my BA and my masters at UC Irvine. I was very active in the community and led several non-profit organizations, performed with a Middle Eastern dance troupe, and played league volleyball.

I love the weather, beaches, and diversity in Southern California. My family was close by making it very convenient to spend time together and I had a strong network of friends and colleagues.

I did not like needing to drive in a car to do everything.
