I've survived 9 years here in Nepal and I can't see myself living anywhere else. I just love Nepal. I actually left the US thinking I was going to Africa, hence the name. I have a unique hobby, helping people to choose Nepal as a travel destination. I even have a Youtube channel where I teach the A,B,Cs of Nepal; Always Be Chillin.' I guess you could say a funny thing happened to me on the way to Madagascar. https://youtu.be/PtQVE5KyMHQ
I joined expat.com on 12 December 2010.

Have fun, write a book and blog, host travelers and help westerners to have a great time in Nepal on a lot less money.
This is a lovely, ancient kingdom. This city has so much magic and spirituality and relaxation. I love it here. It is very clean with daily waste pick up and actual city planning and building codes. There aren't as many dogs barking like Ktm. The air is fresher.Very, very wonderful.
That's a tough question. I guess I'd have to say that the price of admission to get into the old city is a bit high for some people.
