Keep in mind that i'm still a real newbie here. (I'll say more in about a year) So here goes: Up to now. I can honestly say i love almost everything about Morocco. Why almost? (Check out my dislikes) :-)
The only thing i can say i dislike is driving through a roundabout without traffic lights. I still don't get the hang of it here! :-P
Had a lot of expat friends there. I was a Sites Manager for a construction company
I liked the people. They were very decent and helpful. They truly looked after my well-being. I can tell you that Kurdistan is also one of the safest places in the middle east. If you take the time to go out of the city and up into the mountains, you'd be amazed how beautiful it all is.
I didn't like the food for one.
Mostly i spent my time at work. Had a lot to do.
The people are easy going and friendly. Had a great time on a few safaris. Loved the off-road driving a lot! which was basically almost everyday. Cooking your own food is the best option. Fresh produce are all Organic, which makes it great!
I didn't like the food in restaurants for one. Roads are pretty dangerous when it gets dark. From herds of sheep, to some drunks, and even police check points. What makes it dangerous is that it's mostly open roads without any lighting. You should watch out for highway men. If you actually stop, you'd probably end up dead.
I was born in Liberia. I was there with my parents. I spent my entire childhood there.
when i was living in Monrovia, it was completely safe. The people were very friendly and decent. I can honestly say that, to me, Liberia is and will always be for me, also my country. I used to love going about the city. I loved the beach, the food, the fresh fruits, i loved everything about it.
Now, if i visit again, i think a lot has changed and i would be able to point out many unlikable points. But thankfully, i still have my fond memories of an amazing childhood and i'd like it to stay that way.

I'll let expats fill what's to like and not like about my own country. :-)
