Half Filipino..Half Puerto Rican.. Fam immigrated from Vieques to NY in the 70s when the US Navy was bombing our MotherLand.. 1st born generation in Calif.,USA. Been to PR many times..Love the climate..Tired of the concrete jungle here in San Fran..Also too expensive to live here in SF..I could sell my house In SF..get out of a high paying mortgage/property taxes, Cash out and buy a decent simple home in PR paid in full No mortgage possibly low or no property taxes and have more financial freedom..Thing is I'll be leaving all my family and friends here in USA..will miss them dearly..And if I'm in a dire situation thousands of miles from home, Yea I can call my beloveds in USA but what can they do for immediate help if I need them?..All they can tell me over the phone is "Call the PO-LEEZ!"? lol..Am I right or wrong??..That the only thing holding me back from moving right now..Maybe I'll get over that fear..don't really fear about anything else regarding my possible move..1Luv
