Retired in 2017. I have spent roughly 5 months in Cañdas for each of the past 3 years. Chinchina, Rio Sucio, and Manizales.

Spend time hiking, walking around Manizales, practicing my spanish, and riding my bicycle. I enjoy meditation, Zen, cycling, swimming (not much of that in Caldas) and reading

Beautiful climate, relatively inexpensive, big enough to offer most things I want, except shoes (major problem) Great food, welcoming culture, fabulous musical culture

Many cloudy days with rain in the afternoon
