Born in New York city but raised in upstate New York, I am used to cold winters, lots of snow and mountain ranges. During my college and high school years, I explored other natural wonders while working abroad. My international experience started with Tanzania. I summited Mount Kilimanjaro, taught conversational English at Mongola Juu Primary School and spent countless hours building relationships with Massia tribe members. From then on, my jobs have taken me around the globe. I have conducted health research and nutritional analysis evaluations in Cameroon. I also have spent many hours teaching youth and women in Morocco, China and Uganda. In Costa Rica, I backpacked with a group to bring supplies to a local tribe. Apart from experience overseas, I have also attended many trainings and workshops such as gender advocacy training. Before teaching in China, I attained a TEFL certificate. Currently, I am serving as a Peace Corps youth development volunteer in Morocco with my contract ending in April 2017.
