Noel is an cultural linguist who connects cultures through the education of language (Latin American cultures and Spanish variants) and draws on the profound connections/powers of body language through dance. Throughout her education she has lived and studied in Spain, Mexico, and Peru. In Philadelphia, she dances with Philly con Sabor, studies under Gilset Mora, and hosts master dance workshops. Noel has also taught for 8 years (Spanish, ESOL, and Creative Writing) both at the high school and university level, and is currently working on a hybrid collection of short stories and poetry. Some of Noels published short stories and poetry can be found on flashfiction.net., the Fall 2014 Issue of the Schuylkill Valley Journal, the Spring 2014 Issue of Philadelphia Stories, and the Fall 2017 Issue of the Pegasus Literary Magazine. Since 2012, Noel has traveled to Cuba 5 times; to study dance with Kimberly Miguel Mullen, to connect with the contemporary Cuban literary scene at the UNEAC (Havana), and to serve as a travel leader for her current foreign language students.
