I am currently living in Los Angeles, and my mother and I are quite interested in moving to Rome, Italy. We only get Social Security, so our incomes are quite limited. What I want to know is, are there any very low-cost (but safe) senior apts. in Rome? Do they have anything that's government subsidized like Sec 8?
