Expat experience
I grew up in calabar, schooled here and have lots of friends here from childhood. I also have a good knowledge of the environment. Its peaceful and hospitable people.
I Love Calabar so much, the full meaning of Calabar is Come And Live And Be At Rest...so first time visitors would fall in love with its serenity, beautiful women(lol), lots of pubs and bars, hotels, well paved roads too. And the Calabar Festival which comes up every december from 1st Dec to 1st Jan and main street carnival which you would not want to miss this years carnival, it gets bigger and better everywhere...hope to see y'all there.
Lack of job opportunities, its really the place to come and make money...its more of a relaxation city than business...i've lived here for 26years, so believe mw when i say so. Not a place for the youths.
