I am semi-retired, following careers in broadcast journalism, government health care public relations, and most recently, as a children's book author. I would like to purchase an apartment in Umbria, preferably in the Todi area, and am looking for some advice and counsel about the real estate buying process. I would also like to get a head start on making friends among expats in Umbria.
