Hi I come from the Caribbean as a person seldom represented by the media. I am looking to eventually expat to a country like Canada or Ireland, but I discovered both are NOT practical choices. SO I've been looking at Chile, except I've now found out that unless I know someone there (which I don't) or have a ton of money to invest (which I certainly don't), that isn't a good idea either. Pity because it's so easy to get citizenship (compared to the nightmare of the Canadian process) & cost of living is cheap. So I don't know what to do. I'd prefer an English speaking nation & Canada seems closer to my culture, but the Canadian govt seems to fool expats into settling in their nation & then handing them low paying jobs. They think your qualifications are crap & you MUST have Canadian experience to work there, YET they persisted in inviting TONS of Indians, Chinese & Africans over -many with falsified qualifications- over the last few years over good English-speaking people. Can't think of any other English speaking nation to try; the US is collapsing, with many of its citizens poor & starving (yet their Pres invites more immigrants, & his opponent wants to start another war,& the ppl wholeheartedly support them) & have little liberties left, ppl are leaving Ireland by the bunch & the UK is being overrun by muslims.
