Ex constriction machinery expert, I recently retired after a long international career. After 2,5 years in South Korea, 10 in Thailand, 2 in Vietnam, 8 in HKG, plus several other missions in SGP, Malaysia, Myanmar I think I qualify for "Old Asia Hand" ? My companion (female..) since 3 years being Indonesian, and both being tired of the HKG madness, we decided to leave and opt for a more relaxed livestyle, shared between Sanur and her house in the Banyuwangi area. So yes, quite some knowledge about Asia but a complete newbie in Bali.
