Can I just open a bank account and travel to Germany to prove my identity. Does anyone know for definite who has local knowledge I would prefer to travel and do that.(As far as I recall that is the only possible way). Or else or do any French banks ...

That seems to be the case, it's fine to use my own bank account then? It is possible that I would be 1. Not allowed to open an account without an address and 2. Not use my bank account. Read More
