I am a 61-year-old grandmother of two tiny but adorable girls living with their parents in Lima, Peru. As retirement age approaches, I am considering living in Peru, but in Chiclayo. From what is said, Chiclayo has a most moderate,non-changing climate. I would like to learn more about the better and safer living locations as one of my main concerns is that I will be a "sola gringa" from the US. As I also have some health problems, location and healthcare are of great concern. My son has lived in Lima about 3.75 years now, and I know there is exceptional healthcare in Lima, but know almost nothing of other locations. I would also like to get a better understanding of day-to-day life and living expenses.I am looking forward to making many new friends.
