I am from Kent in England and have been living in Sharm el Sheikh for the best part of 2 years and absolutly love it. Ive had my ups and downs, laughed and cried but i dont regret anything. Now Im jus back in England for a while to earn some money and then I will go back to Sharm and hopefully set up my own business there. Obviously times are hard in Egypt at the moment but im hoping things will get better. I am thinking of doing a business that will benefit the local Egyptians and not just the tourists. I am also doing a TEFL teaching course while I am back in England so I can look into teaching jobs as I will be qualified to teach English anywhere in the world. If anyone has any advice for me I would love to hear it. Also if there are any jobs that may be availabe from the summer where I could be teaching English I would be very interested. I can offer lots of info, advice ect for anyone thinking of moving to Sharm so feel free to ask :)
I joined expat.com on 09 April 2011.
The move could be back on :) Hoping to get to Lebanon too be with my boyfriend but its very early days yet.
The pictures i have seen of Lebanon look amazing, such a beautiful country and the people seem very fun.
Guess I will find that out when I get there.
I came here on a 2 month holiday with my friend and i loved it so much that I moved here. Life here is amazaing, I have had the pleasure of meeting lots of different people and have so many great friends here now. There has been ups and downs but I have no regrets and I am so happy here.
Everything!! The people here are generally very kind and helpful, I have a lot of very close friends here. I love the sun, the sea, the night life, the whole atmosphere just makes me feel at home.
That i have not yet been to Alexandria!! Everyone tells me how amazing and beatuiful it is but I havent got around to visiting it yet.
I had a great life in England, loving family and friends, good job but always something was missing. I was always out with my friends, going clubbing, chilling out, driving my car anywhere and SHOPPING!!!
I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoyed growning up in the country side. A lot of little things you miss when you move away like the food and even sometimes the rain!!
The cold, the miserable feeling which a lot of people seem to have in England, the lack of manners and the government taking my money to give to those who are to lazy to get a job!!!
