We plan to retire soon and live as vagabonds, renting for a month or two (or 6 or 12) in one place or another as our curiosity directs, relying on our US pensions, beginning in Paris, ending (many years from now) in Italy and planning to see most of the world in between, not as tourists but as temporary residents.
