Started a trade company dealing mainly in office furniture and bamboo flooring.
Lived in a small town of 200,00 which grew to 500,000 in five years. The ?big bamboo sea? was nearby. They filmed the movie ?Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon? there.
When I first moved there were no foreigners. That changed quickly!
