Introduction

Hello, Sawadeekrub, Konitchiwa, Marhaba My name is Hussein Ghouleh, but you can call me Hugh, I have recently moved to Chiang Mai / Thailand after touring South East Asia, and as a born and raised Originally Palestinian Jordanian from the Middle East, I consider my self lucky and privileged to have a chance in experiencing various rich cultures while exploring one of the most beautiful natures in the world. Thailand is a great inspiration to my life, not just because of the many local attractions of countless waterfalls, to a whole net of streaming rivers all the way stretched through endless forests and fields of access-sable mountain tops and hills of rice fields. But the nature of Thai people, specifically in the northern parts of Thailand, and generally the golden triangle area, is a nature to be inspired by willingly from the long spread of contagious pure smiles, to the true sense of natural hospitality instilled in their everyday social life. Certainly, the good quality of life supported by a relatively low cost of living in the northern parts of Thailand, not to mention the continuous awakening of all your body senses inside-out from countless exotic fruits, to a variety of healthy food options, that can fulfill every carving your body would require in such perfect combinations of harmony between people here, and the chilled out boutique suburban life, filled with natural artistic elements, whether it is in the local Thais or residing foreigners most of which are Global Nomads or Active Minorities. The story of Chiang Mai / Thailand started during my travels while I was operating my own company in Dubai, I have had the opportunity to visit this amazingly laid back modern style suburban city a couple of times, and immediately knew that my third visit is for settling and not tourism. After 10 years of operational experience in the tourism & hospitality industries, I have decided to move on to a more convenient way of living a natural healthy lifestyle, and away from all the constrains and boundaries of the corporate world, as well as the social and cultural boundaries that we Self-Put.

After living and working for 30 years in the Middle east & Arabian Gulf region in the tourism & hospitality industry, reaching to own my own brand in Dubai Utravel (www.utravel.ae after accomplishing this project, I wanted to get away from the corporate world, and find my self in an environment where I can be in peace with my self, as I have felt that during my life in the Arab world my life was limited to social and cultural boundaries, so I rook it upon my self to break those cultural and social boundaries in order to create better "self fulfilling" opportunities, which I found here in Chiang Mai, where I have found a new passion in Writing, and relating my experience to the cultural and social struggles people face in their daily life, and approaching the readers with valuable information and hopefully inspire "the willing few" to break their cultural boundaries, and reach a better "self actualization" levels.

I lived in Dubai for around 3 years, as I have been the co-founder and head of operations for a new travel operations concept called Utravel (www.utravel.ae) which was more customer oriented operations that relays mainly in providing knowledge instead of products to its "guests", and a "designing memories" instead of a vacation.
