Hi! I'm originally from Adelaide in South Australia, but am currently living in London. I moved here on my British passport, but London is not really where I see myself living in 5 years from now. For this reason, I decided to do a TEFL course to teach English as a foreign language. I already have an English Literature degree, so it made sense for me to do something that would enable me to teach it. I'm hoping to move by September and the start of the new school year in Athens.
I joined expat.com on 12 July 2009.

Not a whole lot. The art, history, variety of shops to get things from etc. Markets etc.
The weather, the attitude of the people, the transportation, cost of living, availability of fresh good fruit and veg. seafood is poor compared to warmer waters. Great place to visit, horrid place to live.
Born and raised in Adelaide South Australia. I lived there on and off my whole life. Moved away several times to study overseas and live in the UK but found myself back there in 2007. Graduated University and High school in Adelaide and spent most of my working life in Australia.
Just about everything!
The smallness of the city and lack of job prospects
