Born in Avondale, AZ, I currently reside in Prescott, AZ. Along the way, I lived in Montana, Mississipi, Southern California (three times), Virginia, South Dakota, Nevada, Hawaii, and New Hampshire (twice). Outside the USA, I have lived in Kabul, Afghanistan and Blankenrath, Germany. On business or pleasure, I've been to all states except Alaska and North Dakota. On vacation, I've been to London, England; Paris, France; Salzberg, Austria; Venice, Italy; Koper and Ljubljana, Slovenia; Zadar and Dubrovnik, Croatia; and Korfu, Olympia, Santorini and Athens, Greece. I have been a wife, mother and grandmother. I am no longer a wife or mother, having lost my husband (2017) and both sons (1996/2001). I am however, blessed to be a grandmother of Nathan (27), Amanda (25) and Danny (25). I semi-retired in 2005 following a 32-year career in information technology. I subsequently pursued a doctoral degree in that field and served as an adjunct professor at National University in San Diego until I retired in June 2019. I have been diligently writing drafts of science fiction and fantasy novels and screenplays since 2008 and am hoping San Miguel de Allende will provide the perfect backdrop for tackling the rewrites as well as developing new stories, simmering on the back burner. I share my life with my furbaby, Esmee, who makes sure I have a daily walk or two. I love live theater and movies of all sorts (especially action) as well as music/concerts...particularly Mariachis and of course golden rock and roll! I also enjoy car racing, museums, zoos, ruins, hiking, boating, travel, good conversation and dining out occasionally.
