Personal summary: I have been working in the oil & gas sector for more than 25 years. During my 16+ years my tenure with RG I have worked in various positions starting with senior safety advisor up to the head of safety. I have experience of working in commissioning, operations, shutdowns and training. I have managed a multicultural team of professionals in terms of aligning the organizations expectations and improve the safety culture of the organization. During this time I have recruited and headed up a team of safety professional supporting the operations department through commissioning of a number of LNG trains, I have also set up a team to run the entire shutdown and turn around activities. After a steady state of operations I was transferred to safety training and development, I was responsible for Qatari nationals within the SHE ensuring they gained the skills, knowledge and qualifications required to meet internationally recognized standards. I am confident that with wealth of experience in possess in various facets of HSE Management I can help any organization in developing a positive health and safety culture which in turn leads to a safe and injury free work place. I have been implement a number of safety programs over the years looking at behavioral safety and risk tolerance within the various work forces coaching and mentoring groups and individuals implementing a safe place to work. Main Achievements: 1. Developing Nationals to become safety professionals past 16 years in RasGas. 2. Winning QP Oil & Gas Award for Innovation 2011/2012 (Safety Ambassador Program), implemented by myself into Schools where students gain UK recognized safety qualifications. 3. Introduced a competency developed manual incorporating Technical Competencies and Descriptors for the OH&S Department. 4. Recruited and developed a team, carrying out risk assessments, behavioral safety during all Shutdown activities with large Nos of contract workforce, ensuring that all shutdown activities are carried out in a safety and timely manner within RasGas. After leaving RG I have done some consultancy worked with small training facility training nationals in health & safety assisting with some of their training needs and competency development, Qatari nationals in crisis management and business continuity for the various ministries. I joined a construction company starting with the construction of Al Thumama stadium, I am finished with this project and looking for new opportunities. My passion is to work QP Company developing leadership in safety and developing a culture within the QP companies to be recognized for the safety performance through the industry.
