Introduction

I sold my guest lodge & restaurant in Wisconsin USA and moved to Portugal (Cabanas de Tavira in the eastern Algarve) in November, 2021. I left the US in search of new adventures, greater peace & joy, and to escape the current political madness in my native country! Interested in meeting new friends who are not American Trumpers.

I can speak English. I took 3 semesters of Spanish back in college, but that was a very long time ago. Learning other languages is very difficult for me. Yet I hope to read and speak Portuguese well enough to communicate on at least a basic level and pass the Portuguese citizenship test following five years of
