I’m an American author living in Germany. In January 2012, I released "Bitte was? An American author's misadventures in the German language" on Amazon for the Kindle. ($0.99) I was stationed here from 1980-1984 as a young airman in the United States Air Force. The country so enchanted me that it never left my mind and I knew I would return. And now, after 20 years in the real estate and mortgage/lending business and with a writing career in motion, I’m back! I have been published in many popular books and periodicals in the US, including several books in the best-selling Chicken Soup for the Soul series. I’m editing one novel and working on ideas for others. At least one of these ideas will have a German setting. I speak basic German and I’m working hard every day to improve it.
