Expat experience
am on a visitor visa to explore the needs for visa (investor, or other appropriate one). have foreign investors currently analizing projects, small, medium and large
coastal location (I moved from Spanish coastal resort), pleasant climate, and safe from a security view-point. Manta currently has strong real estate development backed by a very positive local development plan on the part of the local authorities.
the part of the urban area that is "unsafe"
owned and operated a couple of restaurants on the board-walk (café/tapas/restaurant) - hard work but very rewarding from a human perspective
summer resort, great weather, proximity to Barcelona
quite humid in the winter months
