I am an American who was born and raised in Fresno and Clovis, California in the Central Valley. I am of Italian and Portuguese heritage. I have my BA in Biblical Studies, and did my student teaching in England in Religious Studies. I have an MA in Education, Counseling and Student Services, and worked for five years as a university counselor and instructor. I have a Multiple Subject, Single Subject, English, and English Language Development Certificate. I taught English in California and abroard for 28 years. I also have a Doctorate (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership. I have served as an Educational Consultant-Manager, WASC Coordinator, Head of Department, and Secondary Principal working abroad in Kazakstan, Myanmar, Thailand, and Cambodia.
